We could write a book about our textile-fueled trips around the world, if only there were the time. Sartor’s founding sisters have travelled the world in search of fabrics for a number of years now, mostly to Asia, the birthplace of silk, but also to local workshops and businesses closer to home. Fortunately, even in the endless race to prepare outgoing orders and acquire new goods, they find a moment here and there to write up the highlights of their experiences on the silk route. Come along for a visit to an Indian spinner, a bustling silk market, and other interesting stops along the way. Take this as a promise to share memories and new experiences whenever the time allows.
