“Dobrý den, having just unwrapped my package of your wonderful fabric, I want to thank you for all the pleasure it brought. When I held the brocade to the sun, it seemed to catch its rays like the surface of the sea in a thousand colors and I imagined all the things I could sew from it. I saw Cinderella (Popelka in Czech?) riding to the ball on Nicholas, dancing with her prince, flying over the snow with her veil billowing and her wedding gown caught up in her hands... I just love receiving mail from Prague. ‘Golden fabrics from the golden city.’ The city itself is like a dream and the music of Karel Gott, Karel Svoboda and Antonin Dvorak has etched the Czech lands indelibly in my memory.
